Search for Rose Bay $10 million OZ Lotto winner continues

2 min read

Someone won $10 million in last week's OZ Lotto draw. That someone purchased their ticket in the Sydney suburb of Rose Bay. But that someone has not yet come forward to claim the prize.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Una O’Neill said that the owner of the $10 million winning ticket has yet to come forward and claim their prize.

“It is now one week after the $10 million OZ Lotto draw and we are still waiting for the winner to come forward,” Ms O’Neill said.

“It is very possible that the winner remains completely oblivious to their good fortune despite efforts through the media to alert them to their win.

“We have no idea who the mystery multi-millionaire is. The lucky ticket holder didn’t register their ticket to a Players Club card.

“Had the customer registered their ticket, we could have contacted them with the news that they are $10 million richer.”

Ms O’Neill said customers should keep their ticket in a safe place and to contact NSW Lotteries if they think they are holding the winning ticket.

“There is a wonderful surprise in store for the lucky winner because it’s possible that the winner is walking around completely unaware that he or she is carrying the equivalent of $10 million cash,” she said.

The $10 million prize was won in OZ Lotto draw 900 on Tuesday 17 May. The unregistered winning ticket was purchased from Rose Bay South Newsagency at 529 Old South Head Road, Rose Bay.

NSW Lotteries officials are encouraging anyone who may have purchased their unregistered OZ Lotto entry in Rose Bay to check their ticket and contact NSW Lotteries on 1300 363 444.
