Money for Morley - $2 million Monday Lotto win

1 min read

Two Western Australian Saturday Lotto players won a Division One prize in last weekend's draw, each winning $725,218. One of the winning tickets was sold at Southlake Newsagency, the other at the Busy Bee Kiosk in Kelmscott.

In fact that makes it two Saturday Lotto Division One-winning tickets sold at the Busy Bee Kiosk in past three weeks, with a ticket winning $350,390 sold there last month.

Owner of Busy Bee Kiosk, Lal De Silva, said both Division One wins had come at a good time for the Kelmscott community.

"The fires in February were a devastating time for the local community, so these Lotto wins have come at the right time," Mr De Silva said.

"We are all very excited. I have only had the Kiosk for three months and can't believe we have sold two Division One tickets in only three weeks."

Six winners nationally shared Saturday Lotto’s division one prize, all winning $725,218. Along with the two winning WA tickets, two winning tickets each were sold in Queensland and Western Australia and one each in NSW and Victoria.
