What would you do with a million dollars? A Queenslander is deciding just that after his Division 1 win with Wednesday Gold Lotto. The Beenleigh retiree could barely contain his excitement after his Wednesday Gold Lotto results earned him a new millionaire status! 

The winner spoke with lottery officials the following day to confirm the Gold Lotto results. He was overjoyed and shared that he had been looking at the results when they called, noting that there was a QLD winner. 

“You’re joking! One million dollars? I’ve won a million dollars?” 

The happy man shared that his heart was racing, and that he was shaking so much. Fearing dropping the phone while speaking with officials, the winner was unsure what to say.

However, the new millionaire knows exactly how to use his winnings from the Gold Lotto results. He explained that his family would be “rapt” and were going to benefit. 

“I’m going to buy my daughter a house. She’s been looking for a while. I can’t wait to ring my daughter and tell her.” 

As for himself, the winner remains humble. He explained that he didn’t need much, but may upgrade the car.
