Lotto winners "had a feeling" they would win

2 min read

Two Division 1 winners are extremely grateful for the good fortune that has put an end to their financial struggles – and they both had a funny feeling they would win!

A family from the Perth suburb of Winthrop was stunned to find they had won nearly a million dollars in last weekend’s $4,000,000 Saturday Lotto draw – all because the winning wife had a dream in which she bought a winning lotto ticket.

According to the husband, the dream gave his wife a “strong feeling” to buy a ticket from a local newsagency, which ended up being one of four Division 1 winning tickets in the Anzac Day draw on April 25th.

“We’re feeling so relieved because we were struggling financially,” said the husband. “The win has come at a very good time.”

Their prize money will go towards paying off the mortgage and clearing debt before taking a family holiday.

The winning numbers from Saturday Lotto draw 3523 on April 25th were 20, 12, 7, 42, 29 and 5, plus supplementary numbers 30 and 11.

Another Division 1 winner from a recent $4,000,000 TattsLotto draw, located in Melbourne, was in shock after lottery officials contacted him with news of his win. His 18-game Quickpick, purchased from a local newsagency in Narre Warren, brought him a total of $1,059,086.40 in prize money.

“You better not be joking or you’ll give me a heart attack!” he exclaimed. “It’s funny, I was picking up the fish and chips for dinner and I just had this feeling we were going to win!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, plans to clear his debts, invest, donate to charity, and help his family out.

“I’ve got a big heart,” he said. “I love to share and I don’t believe in keeping all my winnings to myself.”

The winning numbers from TattsLotto draw 3521 on April 18th were 27, 14, 18, 16, 26 and 4 plus supplementary numbers 10 and 5.

Powerball jackpots to $6,000,000 this Thursday – why not try your luck? Official tickets are available online now.
