Half a million Lotto win still unclaimed in NT

1 min read

A punter in the Northern Territory has a huge surprise coming their way - a Division 1 TattsLotto win to the tune of half a million dollars.

The winning ticket, purchased from a Darwin newsagency last week, was unregistered, meaning the lucky winner could not be contacted by lottery officials. All TattsLotto players in Darwin are being encouraged to check their tickets against Saturday's winning numbers of 1, 10, 14, 5, 33 and 29, and supplementary numbers of 9 and 22.

The big win is the second major lotto prize for the Top End this year, after a Howard Springs man claimed a TattsLotto prize of $694,993.83 in May.

There were eight Division 1 prize winners in last Saturday's guaranteed $4,000,000 draw; four from Victoria and one each from Queensland, New South Wales, and the ACT. Each prize is worth exactly $554,821.45.

A lottery spokesperson said "the winning streak [could] continue in the Top End" with this Saturday's $20,000,000 Superdraw. No matter where you live, you could be Australia's next millionaire this Saturday 20 September - why not get your ticket in early? Official Superdraw tickets are available now.
