The $30M Powerball Mystery has been solved! A Gold Coast woman has come forward with the winning ticket to claim the $30M Jackpot from the Thursday night Powerball draw.
The lucky lotto winner was the only division one winner nationally.
“I’ll never have to work again” she said.
The winning ticket was purchased at newsXpress Nerang at the Nerang Fair Shopping Centre on Nerang-Beaudesert Road.
Whilst we knew that the winner was a Queenslander, their actual identity remained a mystery until the Gold Coast woman finally came forward to stake her claim!
She had realised not long after the Powerball was drawn that she held the winning ticket but was in shock and decided not to ring up to confirm the win until the following morning.
She thought that her eyes were playing tricks on her as she checked the winning numbers against hers over and over again.

The winning Powerball numbers from draw 788 held on Thursday 24th June were 23, 17, 6, 16 and 33. The Powerball was 36.
