Frenchs Forest man wins Monday Lotto $333,333

1 min read

A Sydney man, from the almost northern beaches suburb of Frenchs Forest, is one of three winners across Australia in this week's Monday Lottodraw. Each of the three has won $333,333.34.

“I heard the Lotto numbers on the radio on my way to work this morning, I immediately thought that they were very familiar and checked my ticket as soon as I could,” the self-employed father of two said.

“This will help out a lot; I’ve got a mortgage and a young family, so it won’t go to waste.

“My wife will be in tears when I tell her about this. I just need to process it myself first before I tell anyone, it feels very surreal.”

The 43 year old purchased his ticket from the Avalon Beach Newsagency. It was a system 8 ticket, the same type of ticket he has been playing for quite some time.

“I picked my numbers more than 15 years ago, they are mainly important birthdays,” the winner added.

In addition to the Frenchs Forest winner, one winning entry was purchased in the Sydney suburb of Rose Bay, and the third Division One-winning ticket was sold in Victoria.
