Escape to Mexico with a Saturday Lotto Win
2 min read
What an amazing thought. Winning the lottery and escaping to the lush beaches along the Mexican coastline. I can just imagine how warm and simply glorious it would be.
A very lucky Minchinbury man is planning just this, a Mexican escape after winning close to half a million dollars in Saturday Lotto.
Claiming to have predicted his windfall, he told the newsagent about his premonition.
“I have been one number off winning four times before this. When I was buying my tickets this week I said to the newsagent that I would win it, I had a funny feeling about it this week.”
The father of two checked his results first thing on the Sunday morning after the draw took place and realised immediately that he had won.
“I’m just thrilled,” he said.
He also tells us that he has been playing the same numbers for years; they are based on the birthdays of his family so, surely it was only a matter of time before they came up!
With his first grandchild on the way he says that he will be able to help out his daughter with money for when the new bub comes along and his son also wants to buy a unit so he will be able to contribute to that venture as well.
After that he is planning on paying of his house and then heading to Mexico!
The man purchased his ticket from the Minchinbury Newsagency at Minchinbury Shopping Centre, Minchin Drive Minchinbury, NSW. The Lotto draw took place on Saturday July 30th with a division one prize of $4 million. There were 9 first division winners in total.
The winning numbers from the draw were 2, 5, 9, 16, 23 and 31 with supplementary numbers 34 and 38.
Right I’m off to look at guide books to Mexico, buy a lottery ticket and daydream.
